Root Before Fruit PART 2: Faith that works

The manifestation of any fruit is determined by the root system. The health of the fruit is based on the health of the roots. Our walk with Christ and also the bearing of the fruit that resembles our walk with Him is predicated on how intimate our relationship with Him is. We cannot as belivers experience the life testified in the scriptures when we have not made it intentional to develop intimacy with God. Our faith and trust in God can only be built when we are having intimacy with Him through His word. Amen. God desires for His children to experience all of the blessings that He declared in His word but we cannot take hold of that if our relationship with Him is a crisis one. Someone has rightly said the God is not a spare tire which we cannot use except in times of emergency. You wonder why we as belivers don't experience all that has been spoken by the prophets. There is so much uncertainty in today's world. You wake up and turn to every news channel all you hear is war. This somehow, makes us to be uncertain about our future and the future of our children. Is the world ever going to change? Are we ever going to experience a warless society? Why does it seem like everything is growing worse? Are things going to be better? We look at our everyday lives we seem to be surrounded by insurmountable challenges. Why is this happening to me? Why is this happening to my beloved ones? This happen and that happens. Why can't we just have peace? We often ask ourselves when we find ourselves caught up in the midst of turmoil. But what is the way forward? My friend I am here to speak to you that there is hope for you. In the midst of chaos you can still hope. You can still have peace which surpasses every negative situation. The Object of saving faith

  If you go around asking anyone concerning faith you will be amazed at the number of answers you will get from different individuals. Almost everyone knows about faith. Almost everyone believes in God save a few who think there's no such thing as God. However, the question is which God are we to believe in and what exactly are we supposed to believe about the "god". I was going through another man of God's book and he was narrating about his encounter with certain individuals who had their faith in different gods. He asked them why they believed in different gods and their response was strikingly surprising. They told him that they didn't want to lose salvation. So if one god couldn't save them the other would definitely do that. Such level of misunderstanding concerning saving faith is what we are experiencing in our contemporary world.
